Terms of Service

1. Your account

• You need to be at least 16 to use Einko.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password safe: you're responsible for what happens in your account.
• Don't use Einko for anything illegal or to harm others. We may suspend or close an account that does.

2. Trial and billing

• New accounts get 30 days free. No credit card required.
• After the trial, Einko is a yearly subscription, paid in advance. It renews every year until you cancel, and you'll get an email before each renewal.
• You buy Einko through Link, Stripe's payment service. Link is the seller: it charges your card, collects any sales tax, and is the name on your receipts and statements.
• If you subscribed at the founding price, it stays yours for as long as your subscription stays active.
• Other prices may change. We'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you.

3. Cancelling and refunds

• You can cancel any time from Settings. You keep full access until the end of the year you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• Refunds are case by case. If something isn't right, emailhello@einko.so and we'll look at it. Where the law gives you a right to cancel a purchase, Link applies it.

4. Fair use

Your subscription is for your own personal use. Some features cost us money each time they're used, such as AI or transcription. Use them as much as you reasonably need. If your use goes far beyond that, we'll contact you before limiting anything.

5. Your content

• What you put in Einko is yours. You let us store and process it only to run Einko for you, for example to sync it across your devices, show link previews, or send a note or task to Notion when you ask.
• To export your data or delete your account, emailhello@einko.so. How long we keep your data is in our Privacy Policy.

6. Our software

• Einko itself, its code, design, and name, is ours. Your subscription lets you use it; it doesn't make any of it yours.
• Don't copy, modify, resell, or reverse engineer Einko, or try to extract its source code or get around its security, except where the law gives you that right regardless of these terms.

7. Changes

• Einko will change over time. We may add, change, or remove features.
• If we ever shut Einko down, we'll email you ahead of time so you can export your data.
• We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.

8. No guarantees

• Einko is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs.
• As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost data or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for Einko in the 12 months before the claim.
