• Your time zone, so reminders arrive at the right time.
• What you put in Einko: notes, tasks, projects, links, and files.
• Your subscription status. Payments go through Link (Stripe), so we never see your card details.
• Basic usage analytics to understand how people use the app.

2. How we use your data

We use your data only to:

• Provide and improve Einko.
• Understand how features are used, so we can make Einko smoother and more useful.
• Send you emails about your account, such as password resets.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Analytics

• We use PostHog to understand how Einko is used and to catch errors, so we can improve it.
• What you write, like your notes and task names, is hidden from analytics.
• We use cookies and browser storage only to keep you signed in, remember your settings and recent items, keep drafts and unsent captures on your device, make Einko load faster, and measure how it's used. No advertising cookies.

4. Services we rely on

• We use trusted services to host Einko and store your data, send email, show previews of links you paste, deliver reminders, and process payments. They only get what they need to do that job.
• If you connect Notion, the notes and tasks you send there go to your Notion workspace.
• Your data is stored in the United States.

5. Data security

• Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
• Access to the production database is restricted and used only to keep the service running.

6. Getting or deleting your data

To get a copy of your data or delete your account, emailhello@einko.so.

We delete everything 90 days after your trial or subscription ends, or right away if you ask. Backups roll off within a week.
